CHICAGO — The Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox Ave., is unleashing a double-hit of authentic Celtic music this week to remind us that St. Patrick’s Day is a mere six months away, the center announced.

The festivities start with a free performance at 7 p.m. Thursday by Lúnasa, described by event organizers as “one of Ireland’s most celebrated, long-lived traditional music ensembles.”

The band plays folk music from Ireland, Scotland and Spain with classical guitar and bass for “dazzling harmonies zipping by in every bar,” they continued.
