West Virginia Southern Conservation District will host Farm Field Day Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at District Supervisor John Farrell’s Family Farm in the Big Bend of the Greenbrier River.
The purpose of the event is to bring awareness on a variety of different levels of outreach to local agricultural resources within the
Southern Conservation District and nearby. These include, but are not limited to, grant writing, agency outreach and conservation of farmland, soil, water and other resources. Counties within the southern district include Summers, Raleigh, Fayette, Wyoming, McDowell and Mercer.
